Weed Killer: Is There a Cancer Risk?

Weed Killer Cancer Risk

Over the years, I have heard and read conflicting information regarding week killers and their effect on humans. The opinions of the articles seemed to depend on who sponsors the article.

For example, all of the articles sponsored by chemical industries seemed to support the idea that these chemicals are totally safe. Sure they negatively affect every living thing they touch…except YOU! Sure there are warnings that you should have all exposed areas of skin and eyes covered when using such chemicals…but that’s just a precaution because they are safe.

Well, yesterday a study was released supporting those gardeners and farmers who, for years, have argued the dangers of using such chemicals.

But don’t just take my word for it!

Or how about the man who, just last year, stood up to the big weed killer company and won his argument that the chemical caused his cancer? The award? $289 Million Dollars! Check out that info here

We all have to do our research and do what we feel is right to protect ourselves and our families. Sometimes that means we have to go out and physically remove weeds. As with many other things in life, convenience does not always make things better.
